Product Profile: Bahco Pruners

Most dedicated gardeners have more than one pair of hand pruners. I, myself have three: one in my apron pocket, one in the car and one as a backup in my toolbox. I have three requirements for my hand pruners of which Bahco fulfills nicely: they must come in sizes that can accommodate people like me with tiny hands, be brightly colored so I can find them when I drop them and be strong yet ergonomical and light.

As a Certified Arborist, I'm of the opinion that you should spend the extra dollars to buy quality pruning tools. Yes, a $5 pair of pruners is inexpensive but they will wear out quickly, make poor cuts and take a toll on the hands of the user. They are simply not a good idea for plant and gardener alike.
