Variegated Boxwood
Variegated Boxwood (Buxus sempervirens 'Aureovariegata')
Compact, variegated evergreen shrub that reaches 8-10 feet tall and wide.
Plant variegated boxwood in full sun to partial shade in organic, well-drained soil.
Can be used as a hedge for screening or as a taller foundation shrub.
Keep in mind that this plant, like all boxwoods, has an unpleasant odor, especially
when pruned. Variegated boxwood makes a fine alternative to the invasive
Chinese privet (Ligustrum sinense).
